Other Platforms
Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon
The game has very nice graphics and beautiful full-screen anime style special attacks. The player will be offered a choice between five inner senshi. During the most difficult moments, Tuxedo Mask will also appear. Two player mode is supported. Naoko Takeuchi herself supervised the game and voices for senshi were provided by voice actresses that worked on Sailor Moon anime. One of the best Sailor Moon video games.
The game exists in two versions: 95/03/22 and 95/03/22B. I am admittedly unsure what is the difference between two. An archive for 95/03/22 comprise 17 files and archive for 95/03/22B-18 files; 17 of them are identical to 95/03/22 version so you'll have to download only that additional 18th file. So, in order to get a working 95/03/22B version, you must extract all content of archive for 95/03/22 and add it to the 95/03/22B archive. That's it. After placing both archives into "roms" directory of your emulator (assuming that you use MAME) you can play both versions. |
Quiz Bisyoujo Senshi Sailor Moon - Chiryoku Tairyoku Toki no Un
After choosing your senshi and the first location the game starts. In order to advance in the game, you'll have first of all to throw dices and move forward at number of steps shown by dices. That's where you encounter a monster-of-the-day (or bosses) and play a quiz itself (of course, all questions&answers are in Japanese). After answering several questions you'll return to the world's map and can throw dices again. (during a quiz you can gain different bonuses&prizes (e.g. sometimes Sailor Mercury will give you hints for correct questions)). Apart from quiz itself, the game has a lot of other funny things to do, totally cute animated scenes, full-screen animation, voices&music and many more. Two players mode is supported. On the whole, it is one of the most beautiful Sailor Moon video games.
There exists a cheat (for MAME emulator), forcing correct answers to be listed always under number 1. If you do not know Japanese (like me) it may be very useful.Click here to download cheat.dat file (97 bytes). It must be placed in the same directory as Mame32.exe. After starting emulator, go to file > properties>miscellaneous and check "enable game cheats" box. Start the game and then press TAB key. In menu appeared select "cheat" option. In new menu select the topmost item (enable/disable cheat) and here you must see "Answer is always 1". Change the value from off to on. That's it. Now during the quiz you can press a key for answer 1 (usually it is listed as the topmost choice) and it will be a correct one. |
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon SuperS: Shin Shuyaku Soudatsusen
All ten senshi are playable, in two player mode. In story mode, only the six main senshi are selectable. The game (as well as its Sega Saturn counterpart) has ability customization system. All senshi models are polygonal. Graphics and animation are very nice. Special attacks are just perfect. Sailor Chibi Moon looks differently from her Sega Saturn (from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Super S: Various Emotion) counterpart.
